Introduction
Sara A. Cassidey was born and raised in Louisiana. She credits childhood camping trips west and the encouragement of family and friends for her eventual move to Oregon in 2003. A classically trained musician, Sara has performed as an oboist with local community ensembles and has taught young musicians the beauty of one of the more challenging and peculiar wind instruments. She continues to cultivate a musically creative life, but now balances her musical endeavors with a passionate pursuit of baking, hiking, film-going, and entertaining her two cats.
Practice & Experience
- Sara joined Bodyfelt Mount LLP as an associate in 2011. Prior to joining the firm, Sara was a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Timothy J. Sercombe at the Oregon Court of Appeals. She also clerked for the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Oregon, where she handled cases on the Central Violations Bureau docket, and the Oregon Department of Justice’s Trial Division, where she worked on tort and employment law cases. Sara’s practice includes cases involving personal injury, insurance defense, and general civil litigation.
